Based in Sydney’s Inner West, Bread Budgeting Services is passionate about supporting small businesses, both locally and nationally. Our mission is to help small business owners with financial planning, budgeting, and operational strategy.
Who is Bread Budgeting Services?
Bread Budgeting Services is the brainchild of Eliza Ludwig, an experienced financial analyst with over 15 years in financial accounting, management accounting and strategy analysis under her belt. She gained her skills in a range of industries, including not-for-profit, financial services, transport and packaged foods, in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Organising + Maths = Budgeting!
Eliza was interested in organising and maths as a young child, so when her mother taught her about budgeting – which combines organising AND maths – she was hooked. At the age of 20 she started using budgeting to get the most out of her favourite thing, travelling, which enabled her to take many life-changing trips on a small budget and still be able to buy her first property at the age of 25.
Eliza studied Agribusiness at University and has a Diploma in Financial Planning. Having grown up in rural Ohio (USA) and later Perth, her initial goal was to help farmers by working as a rural consultant. But things did not go quite according to plan: she moved to London after finishing her studies, to live and work for a while, hoping (without success) to “get the city out of her”. Eliza never got around to moving to the country, but her love of helping others through financial consulting stuck, which she now does through Bread Budgeting Services.
Eliza now lives in Sydney’s Inner West with her husband, son, daughter and puppy. She loves baking, boxing and pinning inspiration for their “one day” renovation.
Why Bread Budgeting Services?
Today, Eliza is passionate about drawing on her expertise to play a vital part in ensuring the longevity of our Inner West’s thriving and creative small business economy.
Values + Visions = Success
She supports sole traders, entrepreneurs and small businesses by advising them on their financial choices and helping them to building sustainable businesses that work for them. Eliza pays particular attention to learning about her clients’ values and long-term plans in order to support them with a holistic view of their business as well as their life, and life goals.
